Just recently discovered your webcomic and so far i love it, specially the strips that are self-explaining (no need for dialogs), awesome job, keep it up!
Everyone can do art, BUT not everyone will do good art. Instead of blaming the ones who try, he should blame the ones who think they are ‘superior’ humans, BECAUSE they do better art.
But at one point he’s also right. A lot people misuse the ‘art’ industry to get fame and money, act like they are artists and show off like a big deal. So i can also understand his cycnical view.
Although the problem with THIS particular guy, is that he is as you describe at the very end. But I guess it’s sorta like natural selection somehow? Yeah, like you said, people just use it to make millions an what not, but the aear out easely, I think. And also like you said, everyone can do art, few will do good art and those are the ones that will keep going, but everyone got a chance to prove if they can.
It does, doesn’t it? I love how my editor arranged it, makes him look like the big ass he is.
But he’ll get put down to his place in just a few pages 😉
