I’m with Nat. I consider gift giving a test. I tell you NOTHING and, if you’re truely a friend, you’d know exactly what I’d want before I’d even know.

But with my family I’d just get underwear every year.

    I don’t even WEAR underwear.

And if I do, they certainly aren’t gonna be Tighty Whities. Where’s the receipt?

That’s why gift cards are made for!

So you don’t wear underwear, and your family keeps giving you underwear… can’t see the connection there?

Gift cards! that’s true… other option are the chinese goods stores, they have saved me a lot of times, because, at the end, I think the best present is to show that you think about your loved ones, not the gift itself. So a simple detail is good.

Like the infamous grinch said, “i could hang myself several times with all the lousy christmas ties i find on the garbage every year”, i support wyli, a fool-proof method is often the best course of action

      Exactly!
and as well, you don’t have to run around the store with the other thousands of people running around it exchanging what they got because it either doesn’t fit or they didn’t like it.

We mostly do this for birthdays in our family. Mostly cos we have no clue what to get the other most of the time.
Although, I do wonder what kind of present Wyli would give the others, if they let him go crazy with the idea…?

Hahaha, same here, well, but like in this scenario, on Christmas.

Uhm, I dunno how convenient is for anyone to let WM go crazy with any idea.

HAH! I always tell people this. They complain “It’s not SPECIAL or SENTIMENTAL!” I’d rather money go to something useful than something I’ll toss, like a card. Hahaha XD

Yeah, they can put that money into a gift card. That way one can make that useful in what he/she wants.
