It’s amazing just how these bully type people seem to think that just because they want something all they have to do is reach out and take it and that it will all be cool.
Though truthfully her type of attitude stems from personal fear and insecurity. She overcompensates for her fear of not being good enough by going overboard in the opposite direction. Then when her actions are perceived in a negative fashion it only serves to reinforce her own self image of not being good enough or a failure, which in turn makes her redouble her efforts in the opposite direction.
It becomes a self destructive spiral unless someone or something can break her out of it. Maybe Wiliman is that someone?
I don’t know if Wyliman is “the one” right now, but as the future comes in the series, he might be.
And your analysis is pretty spot on. Nadia is a bit complicated, she indeed tends to bully to get what she wants, in this case, trying to just take Mackenn for herself by proving she’s “better” than Andrea, maybe not by harassment, but because she thinks too highly of herself, and since Andrea is smaller, by comparison, she HAS to be the best one. But sometimes she bullies for an actual good reason (something terrible happened to Natalia in the past related to a man, so she bowed to protect her, that’s why she hates Wyliman), but she really doesn’t stop to analyse the whole situation.
She’s not a bad person per se, she’s just… misguided, so to speak. And like you said, someone has to break her out of that vicious circle she liives in, her own head. Maybe it’ll be Wyliman. Maybe it’ll be all of the other characters.
There’s this theme of “perspective” of people I’ve been dwelling on as of lately in my head (the current story line of Clink (my other webcomic which if you haven’t already, you might enjoy as well) is about the subject as well), and how if we stop and pay attention, we can learn a whole world of interesting perspective from different people.
Whoops, I think I went a bit overboard here, heheh. Hope it was interesting at least.
MacKenn, I choose you!
Joke aside, this is some touching talk here.
Wyliman has his moments.
jaja, ¡Macken pokemon!… buena esa.
Y sí, cuando presionas las cosas (ó buscas que pasen “a fuerzas”) es cuando menos suceden…
More extra points for Wyli!
A la fuerza nomas salen los clavos.

Thanks for your comment!
Yup, I’m already enjoying your other comic as well. I love the silent little knight and his mouthy horse companion. 🙂
Glad you do 🙂
That was supposed to say “Maybe Wyliman is that someone” not “Wiliman”, stupid typo’s.
Hahaha, don’t worry 😉
